What Happened
The Problem
The existing roof had reached the end of its working life — weathered tiles and ageing materials no longer offering the protection the property needed. A full strip-back was the right call, letting us inspect the structure and replace every component underneath, while keeping the roof's traditional look intact.
What We Did
After scaffolding went up and a full inspection was carried out, we stripped the roof back to its structure, checked the timbers and leadwork, then rebuilt from there — new breathable membrane, new treated battens to current standards, and traditional French pantiles installed throughout.
The Result
The property now has a roof that keeps its original character on the outside, with a fully renewed system underneath — new membrane, battens, and inspected leadwork built to handle Norfolk weather for years to come.
