We're Roofers First.
Fascias, soffits, and guttering don't get much attention until something goes wrong. By then, water has often been getting into places it shouldn't for months — behind the roofline, into the wall plate, down the exterior walls. What looks like a cosmetic job is often hiding more significant damage underneath.
Pitch Perfect Norfolk replace and install UPVC fascias, soffits, and guttering across Norfolk. We're roofers first — which means when we take the old fascias off, we check what's behind them. If there's rot in the rafter feet or the wall plate, we'll tell you and fix it before we board it back up.
Free survey, clear written quote, five-year warranty on all installations.
Fascia, Soffit & Guttering Services Across Norfolk
We carry out fascia, soffit, and guttering work on all property types across Norfolk. Whether it's a single length of guttering that's come loose or a full replacement across the whole roofline, we'll assess what's needed and give you a straight answer on what it'll cost.
What We Repair
Fascia Replacement
The fascia is the board that runs along the lower edge of the roof, fixed to the ends of the rafters. It supports the bottom row of tiles and carries the guttering. When it rots — and in Norfolk's damp climate, timber fascias do rot — the guttering starts to pull away and water gets behind the roofline.
We replace timber fascias with UPVC throughout. UPVC doesn't rot, doesn't need painting, and lasts significantly longer than timber. We remove the old fascia, inspect the rafter feet and wall plate behind it, address any rot or damage we find, and fit the new UPVC board correctly.
Guttering Replacement & Repair
Guttering carries rainwater off the roof and away from the property. When it fails — cracking, sagging, pulling away from the fascia, or blocked — water runs down the exterior walls and into the foundations. In Norfolk's older housing stock, failed guttering is one of the most common causes of damp in external walls.
We replace and install UPVC guttering systems across Norfolk including:
- Half-round guttering — the most common profile on post-war Norfolk properties
- Ogee guttering — more decorative profile, popular on Victorian and Edwardian properties
- Square line guttering — clean, contemporary profile suited to modern properties
- Deep flow guttering — larger capacity for properties with large roof areas
We also carry out guttering repairs — re-securing loose sections, replacing broken brackets, clearing blockages, resealing joints — where a full replacement isn't needed.
Soffit Replacement
The soffit is the board that runs horizontally beneath the fascia, closing off the gap between the fascia and the wall. It protects the roof void from birds, pests, and moisture. When soffits fail — cracking, sagging, or falling away entirely — the roof void is exposed.
We replace timber and existing UPVC soffits with new UPVC. Ventilated soffits are available where roof void ventilation is required — important for preventing condensation buildup in the loft space.
Downpipes
We replace and install UPVC downpipes to match the guttering system, including offset bends to clear eaves overhangs, shoe bends at the base, and hopper heads where required. Downpipes are connected correctly to drainage where possible, or directed to soakaways where mains drainage isn't available.
Guttering Cleaning & Clearance
Blocked gutters are one of the most common — and most easily preventable — causes of roof and wall damage. If your gutters are overflowing during rainfall, chances are they need clearing rather than replacing. We carry out guttering clearance across Norfolk as a standalone service.
Why Fascias, Soffits & Guttering Matter More Than You Think
Most homeowners think of fascias and guttering as a cosmetic job. They're not — or at least, they're not just cosmetic. Here's what failing roofline components actually cause:

Why Choose Pitch Perfect Norfolk for Fascias, Soffits & Guttering
We're not the biggest roofing company in Norfolk, and fascia and guttering work isn't something we treat as a quick add-on between bigger jobs. We take the time to check what's actually going on behind the boards — which means doing it properly, not just bolting new fascias over whatever's underneath.
We're roofers, not just roofline fitters
When we take your old fascias off, we know what to look for behind them. Rot in the rafter feet, damage to the wall plate, failing underfelt at the eaves — we'll spot it and tell you, not board over it and leave you with a hidden problem.
We check what's behind before we board up
This is the bit most roofline companies skip. We inspect the rafter ends and wall plate on every job. If there's rot or damage, we'll fix it at the same time rather than seal it in behind new UPVC.
Quality UPVC throughout
We use quality UPVC products — not the cheapest option available. The difference shows over time in how the boards hold their colour, how the joints seal, and how the guttering brackets hold the system in place under load.
Tidy, careful work
Roofline work involves scaffolding, ladders, and working right against the exterior of your property. We work carefully, protect what needs protecting, and leave the site clean when we're done.

Fascias, Soffits & Guttering — Common Questions
Yes — all our fascia, soffit, and guttering installations come with a five-year warranty as standard.
Yes — particularly on properties where the roof void has limited ventilation. Ventilated soffits allow air to circulate through the roof space, reducing condensation and preventing the moisture buildup that causes timber to rot and insulation to fail.
The fascia is the vertical board at the edge of the roof that the guttering attaches to. The soffit is the horizontal board underneath it, closing off the gap between the fascia and the wall. Both work together to protect the roofline and are usually replaced at the same time.
A full roofline replacement on a typical semi-detached house in Norfolk costs between £800 and £2,500 depending on the size of the property, the guttering profile chosen, and whether any underlying rot needs attention. We'll give you a fixed written quote after a free survey.
A full fascia, soffit, and guttering replacement on a typical semi-detached house takes one to two days. Larger detached properties may take two to three days. We'll confirm the timescale at the quote stage.
For most two-storey properties, yes — scaffolding or a scaffold tower is required for safe access. We arrange this as part of the job. It's factored into the quote.
White is the standard and most popular choice. We also install fascias, soffits, and guttering in anthracite grey, black, brown, and rosewood — popular on properties where white doesn't suit the exterior finish. Colours are available across most guttering profiles.
Yes — if the guttering is structurally sound but has a leaking joint, a broken bracket, or a blocked section, a repair is often all that's needed. We'll tell you honestly at the survey whether repair or replacement is the right call.
The most obvious signs are visible rot, paint peeling away in large sections, fascias that are soft to the touch, or guttering that's pulling away from the board. If the fascia is moving when you push it, it's past the point of repair. We'll assess the full roofline when we come out.
